I think living in Japan we are very lucky to have access to fantastic quality Cuban cigars. I know in many Western countries like the USA these excellent Cuban cigars are not available due to trade restrictions between the USA and Cuba. Unlucky for them! So anyone interested in cigars and particularly Cuban cigars should take advantage of this access opportunity offered in Japan. My favourite cigar brands are Cohiba and Partagas from Cuba and Davidoff from the Dominican Republic [since their relocation from Cuba in 1990]. The Davidoff is mild to medium and very easy smooth smoke, whereas the Cohiba is medium to full-bodied and the Partagas is very full-bodied and very serious smoke. I tend to have these on hand usually and choose which one depending on my mood. For the full cigar experience I would recommend Partagas. As to choosing sizes I think that's up to you, whatever suits your style and the occasion. Enjoy.
日本で嗜む葉巻
私は今日本に住んでいるので高品質のキューバ産葉巻が手に入りやすく大変ラッキーだと思っています。キューバ・アメリカ間の貿易制限のためアメリカや西洋諸国ではキューバ産の葉巻が入手できない場合が多く、その地域の人たちには気の毒です。葉巻とくにキューバ葉巻が好きな方はぜひここにアクセスし日本での地の利を活かすといいでしょう。
私の好きな銘柄はキューバの葉巻コイーバとパルタガス、1990年に葉巻の生産拠点が一部キューバからドミニカ共和国に移ったのですがそのドミニカ産のダビドフです。 ダビドフはふつう〜軽めの葉巻でまろやかで口当たりの良い吸い口です。一方コイーバはふつう〜強め、パルタガスはかなり強めで芳醇な葉巻です。私自身はこの３種類の葉巻を手元に置いてその時の気分に合わせ選ぶようにしています。葉巻らしい味わいを満喫したいならパルタガスが一番お勧めです。サイズに関しては、それはあなた次第 雰囲気や場面に合わせてお好きなように。充分にお楽しみください。
